PILOT Frixion Ball Slim Pen 0.38mm 10 colors set
These gel pens erase with heat or friction and make color-coding a breeze! I love an extra-fine point, but there are many options, and you can even get refills! Side note: if you sew, these are a miraculous replacement for tailors' chalk. Just iron, and the marks disappear!
EASTHILL Large Capacity Canvas Storage Pouch
There are so many pencil cases out there, but I love ones that have multiple access points, and this design is great. It holds dozens of pens or markers, and even when it sits on your desk, you can see and access many of them without them spilling out everywhere.
Zebra Mildliner Double-Sided Highlighter, "Noble Colors"
These lovely pastel highlighters won't shock your eyes and come in many colors. They're high-quality, don't dry up quickly, and they look good on the page. They are double-sided with a fine tip on the other end.There come in a ton of colors!

Okay, I admit I haven't used this product personally because I keep my own copy of WPED in a little carrier that has space for pens. But this looks SO HANDY!

Possibly the world's favorite widely available pens, in ultra-fine point—useful in a planner with lots of info and limited space. Again, color-coding is key. For those who leave planners in hot cars (remember, Frixion pens erase with HEAT!), you may not always want erasable pens. These are affordable and refillable!
Tombow Air Touch Correction Tape (68695)
Most correction tape is acceptable, but they are not all equal. This is MY FAVORITE. I'm diligently working my way through other correction tape so I can return to buying this superior one. If you experience hand or wrist fatigue, you will love how light a touch is needed to use this, and as you'd expect with Tombow MONO, writing over it is a smooth dream.

If you love sticking things in your planner but don't want a permanent adhesive, here's a removable adhesive applicator so you can basically make any piece of paper or object into a sticky note! It's SO CONVENIENT.

There are endless designs and widths of washi tape available.They're great to use for edging pages, creating tabs, decorations and borders, and as I learned in middle school when a friend brought some back for me from Japan, they're fantastic for sealing gift wrap!

I've owned this mechanical pencil for ages, and it's still my favorite. Neither the cheapest nor the spendiest on the market, it's likely the best one you'll own. It comes with very good lead that doesn't break constantly, and the pencil itself SPINS the lead so you have a consistently sharp point. MAGIC!

CRAYOLA? Yep. Sometimes, the old classics are so great, they remind you how they became classics. I personally love these markers. They last FOREVER, they're VERY affordable, and with the right approach, they can produce a more beautifully variegated line than you might expect!

Brush pens, brush pens, BRUSH PENS! BettySoo, when are you gonna get to big, washy, brush pens? Soon, I swear.But first, these "Sign Pens" by Pentel -- you can get them in so many colors, and they write gloriously. Good ink output without being too wet means they're easier to control. For folks not used to brush pens, these produce a beautifully calligraphic line.

You want wet and washy? Here ya go, my favorite wet, washy brush pens (I think of them as markers, but they're called "brush pens").These are SUPER juicy, with tons of pigment. These popular brush pens from Tombow come in every color imaginable, and if you have a go-to, it's easy to replace one marker easily. I love these pastels because they double as light pastel highlighters in my planner. As the name suggests, they sport both a brush end and a fine tip. There are endless tutorials online for blending or other uses!

Sometimes notes need to move quickly from one page to another, or you need a section of your planner to really POP so you pay attention. For some of you, W+P means the end of dependence on sticky notes, and that's great! If you're like me, though, you might still need them occasionally.They also come in super sticky!

Have you fallen in love with Frixion pens? Well, Pilot also makes Frixion erasable HIGHLIGHTERS!These are juicy, so you need to wait until fully dry before erasing for best results, but I LOVE being able to erase highlighter marks.Hot Tip: If you know you're gonna highlight a line, put the highlighter mark down, and you won't smear your pen!

Calling fellow nerds! This is not only a very affordable ruler, it's a good one. It's steel, light, flexible, cork-backed, and it comes in additional colors. It's got both customary and metric measurements, and I keep it in my custom back pocket I insert inside the back cover of my planner (see video in the gallery for tutorial).
